My wife and I were on a ten day trip of Italy and in Florence, this pizza place was right by the Duomo.
For being right by the major attraction of the city, it was pretty reasonably priced.
I ordered a Peroni and a pizza. Loved the dough and toppings and I asked for light cheese. Really great!
My wife's pizza was a little over cooked, but the took it off our bill and made it right as best they could.
Awesome service and the view was of course awesome. The Duomo is huge!
Fresh meat, fresh pizza, awesome place! -

After a nice, long nap before our tour of the Duomo, my husband and I went to lunch. I'm generally not a fan of pizza, but my husband insisted I should try real Italian pizza at least once. Long story short, it didn't change my mind. Still don't like pizza.
We were immediately seated at Mister Pizza, one of the must-go spots in Florence, or so we were told. I was surprised we could get seats because of how bustling the plaza was. The pizza with mozzarella, tomato, mascarpone, bacon, and basil (8.5€) sounded good.
I'm sure the ingredients were super fresh, but I wasn't blown away the same way I was with the pasta in Italy. Service was alright. The main perk is location. I'm glad we shared because I couldn't have eaten a whole one myself, nor would I have wanted to. -

We arrived in Florence after midnight after a long day of travel and delays and we're starving. This is one of the few places that was open. It is conveniently located right next to the Duomo. With a name like Mister Pizza, I did not have high hopes.
When we got there, they were closing the outdoor seating. It was counter service only. We ordered and our pizzas arrived in a short amount of time. The thin crust was flaky and quite tasty. The sauce was good. The size was good for one person. There were adequate selection of drinks. Overall, this was pretty good pizza.
The crowd was as you might expect it to a.m. Many people who had perhaps too much to drink being overly loud. We came here for the food and not the ambience. We left satisfied. -

Not a huge fan. While the ingredients on the pizza tasted good the pizza itself was just so difficult to eat. Every single time i tried to pick up a slice everything immediately would slide right off of it. I had the salamino and while it was edible , it definitely wasn't my most memorable pizza in florence..

Came here for pizza late in the evening. The staff weren't particularly attentive, and tried to up-sell us on an organic crust option which is a first for me, they also do not offer tap water. Pizzas were flimsy and tasted rather average in taste.
Not a great experience and for €35 I expected more. The view of the Duomo is its only saving grace, but there's other restaurants even on the same square that offer that and more.
